Trevyn Clint Farley

It started out like any ordinary day, but what happened changed our lives forever.  We lost Trevyn Clint Farley, a beautiful 4 year-old son, grandson, great-grandson,nephew, cousin and friend.  Our lives will never be the same.

I've asked myself over and over again what is the reason behind tragic accidental deaths, but I have no answers.  I do know that we have a loving Father in Heaven who has welcomed Trevyn in to His arms, and knows all of the answers that I long to know.  I can't ask for more than that.

I do pray for Shinny, Trevyn's beautiful and devoted mother.  He was the sun and the moon to her.  He was everything to Tracey and Jim, and Dian and Ted.  As hard as it was for me to watch that valiant little boy fight for life, it was even harder to watch his mother collapse in grief throughout the day.

There were so many people there to support Shinny, and were there because they loved Trevyn so much.  Trevyn's dad was there, too, looking as lost as I've ever seen a man look.

But in all of that tragedy, I saw a patchwork of family and friends that were full of love and support and shared grief that linked us together.  This, I think, is what life is all about.  It isn't about fancy things or how much money we make.  It is about how much we love each other.

I'd just like to say that Trevyn brought much joy to my life.  It was so much fun to be in his presence.  I loved taking pictures of him because he was so passionate about everything that he did.  That little guy had a happy life.  It might have been short, but oh, was he loved and adored.

We are going to miss you, Trevyn.  We can hardly wait to see you again.  Until then, enjoy flying with the angels.
